1). How Do I Properly Use The Trolling Bobber?
Do not cast, instead follow these directions: when you are first dropping the bobber into the water, hold your bait line and gently let the bobber down. Once the bobber is in the water and going the direction you want it to go, go ahead and drop the bait line and
away it goes. Here is video that demonstrates the process.
2). How Do I Steer The Trolling Bobber?
Once the Trolling Bobber is in the water and pulling your line out, you are ready to steer. As needed, grab the fishing align coming from your reel and hold it tightly to your pole. This will tighten the line. Next, turn right by simply swinging your pole to the left. The tight line will then pull on the rear of the bobber, turning it to the right.
3). How Do I Prepare My Trolling Bobber For Its First Use?
The Trolling Bobber typically arrives all assembled. Simply detach the battery compartment and put in a battery. Your fishing line will then need to be tied to the bobber and then run the fishing line through the notch on the rudder. Connect your bait line to the swivel (the little metal round thing) on the bottom of the fishing bobber. Once this is accomplished you are basically done. When you are ready to use it simply turn the battery compartment and line up the arrows. This will turn on the motor and you are all set to go.
4). How Do I Turn On My Trolling Bobber?
Firstly, the Trolling Bobber requires one AA battery (Heavy Duty requires two). Snap the battery compartment off
Once off make sure your battery is facing the correct direction with the flat side touching the spring. Next, snap back on the battery compartment and turn the battery compartment until the arrow on the compartment lines up with the arrow on the motor. When this happens the Trolling Bobber should turn on. If it does not, your battery is most likely dead.
5). How Do I Maintain My Trolling Bobber?
Always having a pair of tweezers on hand is always helpful when it comes ot caring for your Trolling Bobber. While fishing its not uncommon to get a few pieces of weeds or other things tangled in the motor. Simply use the tweezers and get them out. Another helpful tip is to remove the battery when the Trolling Bobber is not ion use. Regularly check, and clean out any battery acid out of the battery compartment. Remember that battery acid can be very harmful and caution is advised.
We also recommend putting a drop of mineral oil on the battery contacts and the propellor shaft to better prolong the life of these metal parts.
6). How Long Will It Take Before I Receive My Order?
