Instructions

1. Install battery in motor unit of Trolling Bobber by unsnapping the front white compartment of motor unit. Install battery as shown and snap on compartment.
.
2. Attach line from fishing pole to the snap swivel as shown.
3. Make sure the leader from the top of the bobber is snapped into the Rudder slot. This will allow directional control of the Trolling Bobber from your pole.
4. Attach your bait to bottom of leader. For the Standard Trolling Bobber use only light weight bait (worms, plastic worms, etc.). The dual motor Heavy Duty Bobber will pull heavier baits (spinning lures, etc).
5. Turn on motor by rotating the white battery compartment until the arrow lines up with the arrow on the red motor compartment.
6. Make sure the rudder is pointing as straight as possible.
7. Lower the Trolling Bobber into the water while holding the bait. Once in the water slowly drop the bait in aswell while being sure that the bobber id traveling in your desired direction. To steer the bobber, grab the line with a finger and hold it tight while you swish your pole to the side. This will turn the bobber. Now, let go of the string. We have a video of this step here if you would like a visual aid to help you in this process.
8. When fishing from bridge, undo the line from rudder slot, turn rudder slightly, drop in water.
9. When dropping bobber in water, grab pole and bait line, let go of bait line, bobber will drop in battery compartment first. Point pole in direction you want to go, let bobber pull, then release line.
